About Coaches of Technology

 Technology is pervasive in our lives.  I created Coaches of Technology to help people keep pace with the rapid changes in tech.

 I offer small group and 1-on-1 training in a variety of topics in and around the Rochester, NY area.  We can sit down at a local coffee shop, library, or other location of your choice.  I also provide professional development training for schools, scientists, and businesses.  I’m based in Brockport, NY, but travel regularly throughout Monroe County.

 My classes and workshops provide  coaching to help you learn how to use your personal, educational, and business technology effectively.

About H. Trevor Johnson-Steigelman

 I taught introductory college physics, both Calculus and non-Calculus based for eight years at the College at Brockport, one of the campuses of the State University of New York.

I recently moved to Finger Lakes Community College so that I can focus on the teaching aspects of being a college professor. I’ve taught high school physics and  I was the assistant manager of a private tutoring center.

I know how to teach and can adapt to the ability of any student.  I’ve taught students from kindergarten through grad school. I’ve also worked with adults of all ages, up through the middle eighties.

I use technology on a daily basis, in both my classrooms and my personal life.

I have over 14 years experience using Microsoft PowerPoint, and 20 years experience using Windows word processing and spreadsheet applications.  I teach students the basics of Microsoft Excel and how to use microprocessors on a regular basis.

I regularly use my iPad, Android phone, and e-reader.

I want to help you become comfortable with the technology that you need to use.
